Create Well Project is based in Gloucestershire and we are passionate about promoting mental wellness through the sharing of creativity, to spark the imagination and create fun memories. Extensive research has proven that expressing yourself through artistic and creative activities is like a prescription for your mental health, it can relieve stress and anxiety.
Unique, High Quality, and Eco Friendly
Our designs are unique to us and our professional face painters regularly get complemented on the quality of our work, our friendliness, and our overall professionalism. We use only top quality professional cosmetic grade paints that are hypoallergenic, FDA approved and meet all EU and UK regulations. We love to use vegan paints and paints not tested on animals as this is important to our values, as is our choice to only use biodegradable eco glitter in our work.
Certified to Work with Children
We have SEND training and extensive experience working with children and young people and can easily accommodate to suit all types of needs. All painters and staff are DBS checked, insured and trained to perform all services. Our head painter Lisa, also has an Art Degree and extensive experience teaching and facilitating art and craft workshops and activities.

The Basics Of What We Do
Adults and Childrens Parties or Events
For children we provide bespoke face painting, hair braiding, art parties, and craft parties., for adults we can provide hair braiding, festival / wedding glitter bar hire, or even a mini photo station.
Hair Wrap Braiding and Clip In Hair Wraps
Popular with all ages, hair wraps and braids are a beautiful addition whether you are looking for an adult pamper treat, or part of a kids sleepover with friends, our hair wrap braids are a great idea!
Adults and Children Arts and Craft Tuition
We love working with the community, and offer both private and group art and craft tuition, as well as craft workshops. Check out our events calendar below to discover when the next workshop is running.
Craft and Wellness Shop
Lisa is the creative founder at CreateWell Project, and she personally designs the craft gifts, and often handmade them. The shop also has a wide range of Handmade Crochet Gifts and Jewellery, Hairbands and Removable Hair Braids, Wellness Gifts, and Mugs. Not sure what to choose for a friend, then why not give them a gift card.

Face Painting
We offer a team of up to 4 professional face painters to ensure we can cope with any sized event,. We can create unique and stunning designs, characters and patterns based on any theme of your choice
We also offer adult face painting, and glitter tattoos, for corporate and private parties.

Children Party
We can provide guided activities tailored to suit your guests age, skill level and interests are designed to suit a variety of different children.
Choose from a children face painter, childrens craft parties with pom-pom, jewelry making, fashion designer parties and so much, much more.

Group Classes
Art and craft classes for adults, and children, from informal chat & craft groups, kids crafts, to seasonal craft workshops.
Whether you want to learn a new skill or just have some fun, they usually last around 2 hours.
If you don't feel happy being part of a group then private tuition is also available..
Private Tuition
We offer private tuition in a range of art and crafts for both adults and children.
Our most popular lessons are crochet and one to one art tuition, although we can teach many other crafts.. Please get in touch with your requirements.
Lessons can be provided in Churchdown or your home.

Online Tuition
At present we only offer a beginners crochet tutorial, which is free if you purchase or deluxe beginners crochet kit.. in our shop. Alternatively why not try our crochet workbook in either digital or paper versions.
We aim to expand these online courses in the future so please bookmark us for updates.

Commissions
We work with local businesses to provide graphic design support and the creation of business products. With previous clients we have supported with logo design, certificate design, making rosettes and crochet bow ties!
We can also provide art and craft commissions for people who want that personal gift.
